This 12-mile walk starts in Shawford. We will meet outside the Station. The easy-to-follow route will take in the villages of Twyford and Oswelbury. We will follow parts of the Monarch's Way and Kingsway. The route is undulating, with a couple of climbs and one steep descent. You may wish to have poles with you.
The landscape is varied, including some great countryside vistas, as well as shaded woodland paths.
There are plenty of parking options - including street parking in the Village.
We will have our morning coffee stop at Oswelbury, where seating is provided. Our lunch stop will require a more open-minded view about seating!
We will meet in front of Shawford Railway Station...in the car park
