Overview

After leaving the Titchfield Community Centre car park we walk through the historic centre of the village and down a path alongside the old canal. When we reach Meon Shore we walk along the Sea Wall, with fine views across the Solent to Ryde and views to the Nature Reserve. At Hill Head we retrace our steps for a short distance and head north west along the English Coastal Path as far as Hook Lake.

We then turn inland through flat farmland and nurseries, arriving back at Titchfield.

Park at the Titchfield Community Centre car park, situated between the A27 and the centre of the village. Heading from Winchester, come off the M27 at J9 and continue on the A27. I find it easier to continue to the Titchfield giratory and go nearly all the way round, entering Titchfield on East Street. Take the slightly hidden left turning in Mill Street, then right into the car park.
