Overview

Edging around Alderley
Start: 10am from the National Trust Car Park, Alderley Edge SK10 4UB, SJ860772 

The walk will be approximately 9 miles of easy/moderate walking, muddy in places. Total ascent 695ft (OS).

The route takes us along Bradford Lane to Alderley Park, we will walk through the woods to the Glasshouse cafe where there will be an option to buy a drink. We continue the walk through the western side of the park and onto Nether Alderley church. We cross the A34 and pass Heawood Hall before returning to Alderley Park. We visit the water garden and the Serpentine, then walk through the woods to exit onto Hocker Lane. From here we pass Finlow Hill and loop around parts of Alderley Edge to return to the Wizard.

Please bring drinks and food for lunch, NT card. No dogs please.
