Overview

The walk will start from Birchover Stone Quarry car park at 10am.  We will walk over Stanton Moor passing the Nine Ladies Stone Circle and the Reform Tower. We then continue down Clough Lane to Darley Bridge and on to Oaker. Through Wensley Dale and Clough Wood. The final section sees us pass Upper Town, Rocking Stone Farm, with views to Robin Hoods Stride. If time allows and there is enough interest we will visit Rowtor Rocks on our way back to the cars. The route should be relatively mud free except for the possible exception of paths through the woods.
