Join Us for a Scenic Circular Walk in Ashdown Forest!
Discover the charm of Crowborough, the largest inland town in East Sussex and the second-highest point in the county. The town is also famously known as the home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the author of the Sherlock Holmes novels.
Our journey begins in Crowborough and takes us out to the Ashdown Forest, where we’ll walk along the edge of Five Hundred Acre Wood, better known as the Hundred Acre Wood from the Winnie the Pooh stories first published in October 1926.
From there, we’ll head east to visit the enchanting Garden of Eden Waterfall, followed by a trek up to Nutley Windmill and then to Friends Clump, where you can enjoy spectacular views across the Ashdown Forest.
We’ll then make our way back to Crowborough through The Warren and return to the meeting point. To wrap up the walk, there’s an opportunity to relax and enjoy a drink at a local pub, where everyone will be warmly welcomed!
