This short easy walk starts at 10am at Astbury Mere Country Park, Congleton. CW12 FB, SJ846627. owls.button.inspector. There is a £1.50 charge for the car park ( cash or card accepted ) but there are toilets and a very nice cafe. I would advise arriving early as it gets very busy at weekends. Fol Hollow, Lamberts Lane, over the golf course to the canal, back along another part of Lamberts Lane, School Road, Astbury, Bent Lane, over the fields to the main road back to the lake where we do a circuit on our way back to the cars.
