Join us for this scenic countryside walk from Welbeck Visitor Centre through fields to the hamlet of Belph with a picturesque burbling stream. From here we will continue across fields and join a quiet country lane which will take us to South Tunnel Lodge on the Welbeck Estate. The lodge sits at the entrance to one of the entrances to Welbeck's famous tunnels built by the 5th Duke Portland in the 1800s. We will then follow the Robin Hood Way across fields and over a bridge back to the Visitor Centre. Views of woodland and open countryside. Rare glimpses of the ruined Welbeck Abbey and the country house of the Dukes of Portland. This is a leisurely walk with some slight inclines over a range of surfaces, metalled roads, good paths and field tracks. Coffee stop and picnic stop at the end of the walk at Welbeck picnic area. At the Visitor Centre there are toilets, cafes, galleries, garden centre and farm shop. Interest points.
