Overview

Going north up the A33 past Micheldever, look for a road on the left just at the start of a dual carriageway, brown signposted to The Dove Inn and Forest Holidays, After 0.4 of a mile turn right into Blackwood Forest and then immediately right into a car park. The walk is to Brown Candover and back. After an initial sample of Blackwood Forest it is across the A33 and the M3 to go through Stratton Park to East Stratton. Then across farm land and woods to Brown Candover to then follow the Candover Brook to the church. The return route is via Woodmancott Down, Woodmancott and Rownest Wood. After crossing the M3 and the A33 there is a bit more of Blackwood Forest to get to the car. 2 stiles. Elevation betwen 266 ft and 487 ft. Take picnic lunch and refreshments as there are no facilities on route.
