Overview

A relatively easy short circular walk from Bollington to Kerridge End and back via White Nancy using the canal towpath, field paths and some road walking. Stiles few and easy, but some steep steps and a long ascent to Kerridge Ridge (mostly gentle, but with a steeper final climb). Lovely views, weather permitting, westward over the Cheshire Plain and eastward into the Peak District.
Some rough paths, and some muddy ones (very muddy if the weather is wet in October) - please wear appropriate footwear and bring poles if you use them
We will stop once for coffee, please bring drinks and snacks
Start point is accessible by bus - twice an hour D&G no. 10 service from Macclesfield bus station to Bollington passes the end of  Grimshaw Lane (2-3 minutes walk from Clough Bank)
Dogs must be on lead due to livestock in fields.
