We are a very active and friendly Ramblers group. Our programme explores the most attractive countryside in the surrounding area including the Surrey Hills.
Meet and park at Ryka’s Cafe car park, RH5 6BX for a 9.30am start from Ryka’s Cafe. A strenuous start into the walk to the summit of Box Hill for some far reaching views across the Surrey Hills, an outstanding area of natural beauty. The remainder of the walk is moderate in grading initially following the North Downs Way, where we will be pausing for a DIY coffee stop. We then make our way towards Headley where we will be stopping for a picnic lunch in St. Mary’s Chuchyard. The Cock Inn is very close by for those wishing to have a drink and use the facilities. After lunch we continue following a mix of footpaths and trails to St Michael’s & All Angels Church where they will be serving well deserved tea and homemade cakes. Finally a further downward 20 minute walk back to the car park. Please register your attendance with the walk leader by 7pm the evening before. 07443 453567
