We are a very active and friendly Ramblers group. Our programme explores the most attractive countryside in the surrounding area including the Surrey Hills.
Meet at 10:30am in Chertsey Meads second car park on Mead Lane, Chertsey (TQ059663, nearest postcode KT16 8LN). Drive past the first car park (the one next to the marina) and take the second turning on the left to the car park at the end of the track.
A circular walk via Chertsey Meads, Wey Navigation, Wey Meadows and Weybridge Station. Coffee stop at Weybridge Business Park (Sophie's Cafe). Lunch stop at Queens Head, Bridge Steet (for pub lunch or nearby benches for picnic lunch). Then return to Chertsey Meads through Weybridge and Wey Navigation. Very flat but can be muddy in parts.
