Overview

Meet Brighton station  by the ticket machines at 10.30am.  Suggested train 9.29 London Victoria or 8.59 London Blackfriars- this is a cheaper option!

Please check train times the week before, in case of alterations

We walk down to join the King Charles coastal path eastwards, passing the marina to the historic village of Rottingdean, with its pretty duckpond and impressive gardens. Famous residents include Rudyard Kipling.  We'll allow enough time to look around the village.

The route continues along the coast, past the Meridian monument to the outskirts of Peacehaven, where there is a frequent bus service back to Brighton.
