We are the Leeds Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From the car park we make our way along farm tracks towards Harewell House. We then drop down to the river cross the footbridge and head up to Smelthouses. From here we take the Nidderdale Way up through the woods before turning off & heading up to Highwood Farm. A short climb then takes us on to the footpath that leads us to the Visitor Centre at Brimham Rocks where we will stop for a lunch break (cafe & toilets) After the break we head over Brimham Moor and then a short road walk leads us to Highfield Farm. From here we cross several fields & then drop down to Summerbridge and then back into Dacre Bank. Refreshments at the Royal Oak
