Overview

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WALK WILL BE AT A MODERATE SPEED. NOT SLOW BUT PERHAPS NOT AS FAST AS SOME OF OUR WALKS. PLEASE LET THE LEADER SET THE PACE

From East Keswick we walk up to the A659 Harewood Collingham road.  Cross the road  and head down to  the River Wharf.

After walking along beside the river for quite a while, we reach the path which takes us up to the A61at Harewood.

We  cross  the road which can be quite busy to walk to the Traffic Lights and  past the entrance to Harewood House. We  walk down until we come to a door  in the wall. Once through we follow  the   Permissive Path for a mile to reach and cross the A61 again which takes us  to  Wike Lane.

A short walk up the Lane and go through a gate to join the Leeds Country way to take us back to East Keswick. The lunch stop would be along the River.
