We will walk from Steeton, climbing steadily for approximately 1.5 miles. As we climb the hill and look back we are rewarded with fabulous views across the Aire valley. When we are almost at the summit, we cross a stye into a field. From here we'll cross a number of fields to arrive in Laycock. From here we follow a cobbled track leading to a road into Goose-Eye. From here, we walk into woodland above the fast flowing beck. Once again we're climbing steadily for again about 1.5 miles. We eventually reach a road wich leads us to another track to yet another road, then we follow a series of fields and tracks leading us back to the road we cimbed at the start and back into Steeton.
There are a number of steep inclines both up and down.
Depending on the weather condtions, some of the fieds can be very muddy and/or waterlogged.
