We are the East Cheshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Meet at the bus stop on Black Road, Macclesfield, near to the junction with Buxton Road and opposite Mount Terrace (SJ926734) in time to catch the 58 bus towards Buxton at 10:21.
Bring bus pass or bus fare. Alight at the Cat & Fiddle at 10:36. The walk is 8½ miles, +900 ft, -2000 ft. We return to Black Road via Cumberland Clough, the shoulder of Shutlingsloe, Nessit Hill, Langley and The Hollins.
Bring a packed lunch. No dogs please.
