Overview

We start at Trent Bridge and go along the Victoria Embankment to the old toll bridge now taking the tram over the river. From there we walk through the King's Meadow Nature Reserve and by the River Leen. We then join the Nottingham Canal and head east along the towpath, passing all the warehouses, retail outlets and apartment blocks. Just after the Canal turns south, we cross to the towpath on the opposite bank. Part way along here are a series of colourful murals. At the end of the canal, we turn at the lock and follow the River Trent for the short distance back to Trent Bridge.
