From the car park over the Goyt Valley ridge into the Combs Valley, down to Combs village, then ascending back, parallel but below Combs Edge to the Goyt Valley. Risk assessment: One muddy stretch. Crossing of busy A5004 Whaley Bridge to Buxton Road and some walking along minor roads. A number of stiles, majority in good condition but not all.
Please contact the walk leader if you wish to bring a dog. Please let the walk leader know of any health issues they should be aware of.
Lay-by car parking: from Whaley Bridge pass the Shady Oak pub on the left, car parking 1 mile further on right.
