Overview

The walk starts at Milldale. We visit the villages of Stanshope and Alstonfield before descending Narrowdale to join Wolfscote dale to follow the river back to the start.

We will start from pretty Milldale and have a couple of ascents in the morning to the limestone uplands. We eventually descend via Narrowdale back to the river Dove for a gentle return to Milldale.
