9.30 Start, Crowden Car park SK13 1HZ (free but small CP), 12.5 miles,~ 2500 ascent, moderate/strenous (terrain)
Steep ascent to Millstone Rocks, Tintwistle Moor, Arnfield reservoir, Swallow’s wood, Devil’s Bridge, Ogden Clough, Ormes Moor, Wilderness (brief stretch of unmarked path), Chew reservoir, Laddow Moss (path ill-defined and boggy), steep rocky descend via Peninne way back to Crowden Car park.
