Start at The Davenport Arms Marton SJ850682 SK11 9HF Approx. 4miles, easy, flat with one gentle short incline and only a couple of low stiles.
Could be a touch muddy in places. Route; Oak Lane, Pikelow Farm, Great Tidnock Farm, Higher Mutlow to A34. Pavement to Marton Church, the oldest half timbered church in Europe founded in 1343 by Sir John Davenport. Return to cars.
As we have permission to use the pub car park, it may be appropriate if some of us popped in for a swift half - or even lunch after the walk. I would appreciate some company!! Hope the weather plays ball and that you can join us
