The walk heads east on footpath towards Buxton, south over Axe Edge, west along the Dane Valley Way to Danebower Quarries, north to Cat & Fiddle and on towards Stake Side, then east towards Goyt's Clough and back to the car park.
Easy walking with no very steep climbs and only 3 stiles.
Poles advised for quarries and descent to Goyt's Clough.
Extensive views and blooming heather in every direction.
Bring coffee, lunch and snacks for stops at Axe Edge Trig (2 miles), Danebower Quarries (5 miles), Stake Farm (8 miles). Loo at Car Park. No dogs please.
