Overview

An evening stroll from Shawford to Twyford and back.

The walk starts along the path by the river from Shawford to Compton Lock. Lovely scenery, just a few muddy spots but many tree roots so a pole may be useful. From Compton Lock to Twyford across the meadows, then footpath and short road section to Twyford Waterworks; views over fields before descending into Twyford and back to Shawford.
