A varied walk from Farnsfield to Robin Hood Hill and back along well-trodden field and forest paths and country lanes. There are several ascents to keep us fit but we will take them steadily and pause accordingly to rehydrate!
A late coffee/ early lunch break will be taken at the top of Robin Hood Hill where we can rest on a bench dedicated to veteran Notts Rambler Geoff Rix. From here you can't help but admire 360 degree views of Nottinghamshire landscape.
There will be further opportunities for a picnic break or cafe/ pub stop on our return to Farnsfield but unfortunately no toilets on this route.
The route is suitable for dogs but the landowners request they be kept on a lead through Combs Wood.
