Overview

From Brackenfield we head over to the village of Ogston, over fields and a short road walk

Passing Castle Farm, Ogston reservoir will soon come into view & coffee will be taken at a good viewing point. We then head through woods towards Wooley Moor before our lunch stop near Ogston Sailing Club.

Our home stretch takes us towards Clattercoats wood, passing a lovely old farmhouse, before returning to Brackenfield.

The walk is mainly over fields and tracks, some stiles but there is some road walking too.

There are few public toilets. Please note that should you need a toilet prior to the start of the walk, we will have permission to use the Horse & Jockey at Wessington just before the turn for Brackenfield.

Please register for this walk on Newark Ramblers website where you will also find details of our car share scheme.
