Low Moderate hill climb at a steady pace. From the Ballogie Nursery School, we walk further down the B976 road and take the first road on the right after 5 mins or so. This leads to forest tracks, gradually rising up southwards to Corybeg. From here a “runners” path leads north west over Lamahip hill. The path continues and joins a bigger path on the far side, leading down north to the Burn of Cattie. The route crosses Glen Cat and heads down to Ballogie House and policies. We go through the estate buildings and then round the west side of Gallahill Wood. The track comes out onto the main road at Marywell Farm, we cross over and take the school foot path behind the houses, back to the school car park.
The walk has two co-leaders, Sandra Edwards and Jay Turner.
Refreshments - The café near the Bridge of Potarch is one option for a cuppa after the walk.
