Overview

The walk is part of an Area Camp weekend. All Ramblers members are welcome, but if you're not on the camp please inform leader the day before.

From Muker, the walk follows paths on the south side of the River Swale to Crow Trees, Kearton’s Wood and Ivelet Bridge. Then low-level path by river to Gunnerside bridge and village. There’ll be plenty of time to visit The Old Working Smithy Museum, King’s Head PH and/or Ghyllfoot tea shop.  Return to Muker via Ivelet, Calvert Houses and Ramps Holme Bridge.
