This is a walk with options. But first, we head from Godley up Green Lane to Werneth Low. with its war memorial.

After heading down into the valley with a lovely section through Back Wood, we pick up the track into Broadbottom. We will pass Broadbottom station and the Harewood Arms for those who only fancy a very short walk - this will be approximately 4 miles and 200 metres ascent.

We then head downhill to find a lunch spot before the ascent up and over to Glossop, with some great views along the way and a rather entertaining gate to shut after we have gone through.
