A moderately-paced linear walk to Chesham Station led by David C (Mobile No: 07747 187036) joint with Hammersmith, Fulham & Wandsworth and Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Groups over undulating terrain.
Route: Great Missenden – Little Wood Corner – Ballinger - The Lee - Grove Wood - Lownde's Wood - Chartridge - Asheridge - Widmore Wood - Great Hivings - Chesham.
Pub lunch, or picnic nearby.

Check trains the day before. Use Oyster/contactless/Freedom Pass plus a single from Amersham (Zone 9) to Great Missenden.
Note: If the timetable is altered, catch the train that arrives at or before 10.55.
If there are engineering works that involve a replacement bus, check website / phone for details of the substitute walk.
Great Missenden Station (train from Marylebone at 09:57 (Aylesbury VP service), calling at Harrow-on-the-Hill at 10:09 and Amersham at 10:33 and arriving at Great Missenden at 10:40). Meet outside the main entrance to the station.
