We are the York Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
From Hebden Bridge railway station we walk through town and continue on footpaths and tracks up Hebden Vale to Gibson Mill (toilets). We continue following the river opposite Hardcastle Craggs to then ascend above the valley. The return route takes us to the old village of Heptonstall before descending back into Hebden Bridge.
Catch the 09.22 York to Blackpool train, arriving at Hebden Bridge at 10.38
Return from Hebden Bridge on the 15.43 train arriving into York at 16.57
