Overview

A (mostly) high-level circuit around Edale with fine views, weather permitting!

Start: Mam Nick car park. Free to NT members by scanning your card. £6 all day for non-members by phone or with an App. No cash. No toilets.

Route: Rushup Edge - Brown Knoll - Swine's Back - South rim of Kinder Scout to Ringing Roger - Ollerbrook - Backtor Bridge - Hollins Cross - Mam Tor - Car Park. Bring packed lunch.

13miles. Ascent 2600ft (ECR walk planner). Strenuous. Much of the route uses informal paths over Access Land, stoned in places. The state of the stream crossings will depend on recent weather.
