Overview

A linear walk to Rickmansworth Station led by Jane R (Mobile No: 07906 987503) over fairly level terrain via Ruislip Woods Nature Reserve and Ruislip Common to the Ruislip Lido facilities. We then follow the Hillingdon Trail via Mad Bess Wood, North Riding Wood, Bayhurst Wood Country Park and Breakespear House to Harefield for our lunch stop at ‘The Harefield’ or ‘The Kings Arms’ pubs or Harefield Village Café (or picnic on the village green). We continue along the HT to Coppermill Lock then pick up the Colne Valley Trail to pass Stocker’s Lake Nature Reserve and Rickmansworth Aquadrome into Rickmansworth. No convenient drop-out points.
