Overview

A moderate to brisk paced linear walk to Amberley Station led by Thomas G (Mobile No:(07775 676 092 - walk day only) with some hills and a final stiff climb up to the Downs. Starts in gentle countryside, with the South Downs a thin line on the horizon then via hills and hidden valleys to finish on the crest of the South Downs with a panoramic view. About 5. 5 hours walking. Lunch Stop: Nutbourne... 'Rising Sun' or 'Barley Corn' pubs. Map: EOL10 (formerly 121) and OL34 (formerly 134), L197 (a tiny bit near the start on 198).
