Overview

Linear to Chilham Station. An undulating walk led by Pam C (Mobile No:  07538 509205) along the Wye and Crundale Downs, with views over the surrounding countryside (designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), passing the Wye Crown Memorial, the Devil's Kneading Trough, Godmersham Park, and the pretty village of Chilham. Please bring all the food and drink you need with you, there will be a picnic lunch stop. Joint walk with Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster Group. Map: E137, L189.

Wye Station (direct train from Victoria at 09:31 (Ramsgate service), calling at Sevenoaks at 10:08 and Ashford International at 10:56 and arriving at Wye at 11:02). (It is possible to reduce journey times by taking the high speed service from St Pancras, and changing at Ashford to catch the slower train from Victoria, but this is a more expensive option.).
