Riverside Car Park, Macclesfield - SHORT WALK

Parking at Riverside Car Park, Macclesfield SK10 2SL Start 10 a.m Coffee Stop.

6 Miles Moderate/Easy. There are 3 lots of steep steps on this walk. As it is a walk to see the many faces of Macclesfield i.e. Country, Canal, Park and the Industrial side the majority is on good paths and pavements. 2 weeks ago there was only a short section which was muddy. We will leave the car park via steps up to the top path of the Bolling which leads to Dorchester Way. Up Dorchester to the new estate across the main road where a path has been made to the Middlewood Way. After which we will walk up Hulley Road the industrial part of the walk cross the Rainow Road up to the country part through to Blakelow Road where you look down on Macclesfield. We then make our way down to the canal after which to Victoria Park back to car park via Middlewood Way.
