We are the East Cheshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This is a moderate Walk meeting at Rushton Spencer car park, off Station Road, near the Knott Inn pub.
We will leave the car park to head for Rudyard Reservoir, where we have the coffee break near benches, toilets and a café. Then onwards to Poolend, Fould, and Gun Plantation. After lunch it’s through Gun Hill, Heaton, and Rushton Spencer. More a rectangular walk than a circular and after doing the recce, it’s about 10.2 miles, and it’s easy for over 90 percent, we have a long slow climb up to Gun Hill, so call it moderate, and lunch is three quarters of the way to the top of Gun Hill, no outrageous climbs, so let’s hope it’s sunny, it is summer after all.
If your groups walk is fully booked come and join us, don’t forget to bring a flask and packed lunch, we stop once for a drink and once more for lunch, and set off at 10:00 a.m. with whoever has turned up - so don’t be late. Any queries contact Paul on 07568712197. Let’s go guys.
