Oswestry Ramblers welcome people who enjoy walking and the countryside. We walk twice a week mainly in Shropshire and Wales and help improve local footpaths.

The walk starts near the Llanfair Railway station in Welshpool. The route heads along the Powis Estate and then ascends steeply to the golf course and the Y Golfa summit ,which provides stunning 360 degree views, before returning along a section of Glyndwr’s Way back to The Raven Pub / parking.
Please bring lunch, snacks and drinks for the two stops we will take.
Public toilets are close to the car park at the start of the walkplus available at various locations in Welshpool( Tesco, Morrisons)
