We are the East Cheshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Trentabank to Teggs Nose circular through Macclesfield Forest. About 9.3 miles with 1770 feet of ascent/descent (OS app). Several steep ascents and descents, which we shall take at an easy pace.
Route: Trentabank - Nessit Hill - Ferriser - Standing Stone - Toot Hill - Forest Chapel - through the forest - Warrilowhead Farm - Walker Barn - Teggs Nose Visitor Centre (lunch stop: where there are picnic tables, a cafe and toilets) - Wards Knob - Bottoms Reservoir - Ridgegate Reservoir and back through the forest to Trentabank.
Please bring food/drink for packed lunch and snack stops. Route is generally on good tracks or field paths, but with occasional muddy patches. Poles may be helpful if you use them. Two difficult stiles, including one almost vertical ladder stile.

Meet at Trentabank Car Park, Standing Stone Road, SK11 0NS. Free parking on roadside in marked bays, or pay to park on site: charge for day is £6.60. Toilets available. Start: 10 am.
