Overview

The walk leaves the Coach & Horses, passes through the village of Sutton Scotney, and after a section walking along a narrow path amongst trees and bushes, crosses open fields before passing Hunton Manor and then going along quiet country lanes.  It is all fairly flat.  The shorter option continues along a lane and avoids a half-mile section which  goes through some fields and over a stile.

After a break at Stoke Charity church, it passes through fields and a small nature reserve before more country lanes, the little hamlet and church at Hunton, and the larger hamlet and church at Wonston.  It finally crosses open downland before returning across fields to Sutton Scotney.

Advance booking is essential.
