An easy circular walk starting at West Kilbride station, through Kirktonhall Glen and on to a section of the Ayrshire coastal path before a wee uphill climb and an undulating stretch through rolling farmland. Some sections of the farm tracks could be very muddy so please have appropriate footwear.
This walk is organised to co-incide with the Glasgow Ramblers summer lunch which starts at 12.45pm in Seamill - see the separate entry on this.
We know that some people may want to come on the lunch but not the walk and vice versa so to help with organisation, please could you to book a place on the walk and a place on the lunch separately. Sorry if this seems a tiny bit inconvenient but it's a massive help to us.

This is a 5-mile circular route. However to reach the lunch destination - Seamill Hydro - there will be an additional mile to walk bringing the total distance for those attending walk and lunch to 6 miles. Just enough to build up an appetite.
Meet outside Marks and Spencer in Central Station at 8.30am having bought a return ticket to West Kilbride. Train is at 8.45am, arriving 9.37am at West Kilbride in time for a 9.40am start.
If you want to meet us at the start of the walk please let the walk leader know. She will confirm a meeting point with you outside West Kilbride station just before the walk starts at 9.40am.
