Meet Point: Near the ticket barriers, or on the platform at Piccadilly Station. Alternatively, meet the group on the train, or at the Walk Start at Grindleford station.
Transport to Walk Start: 08:48 train from Manchester Piccadilly (final destination Sheffield).
Suggested Ticket: Grindleford Off Peak Return £15.10, or TFGM Wayfarer for £17.40 (covers train, tram and bus journeys)

A beautiful walk, with fabulous views of the surrounding classic Peak District landscape. Some short steep sections up & down, boggy patches, and some very uneven paths over rocks. Quite a lot of uphill walking so a reasonable level of fitness is required. A lot of the walk is open to the elements, so do bring layers / waterproofs / sunblock for changeable conditions.
