Overview

Starting at Pinchinthorpe Visitor Centre ( Guisborough Forest and Walkway Centre) - we walk on tracks through Hutton Lowcross Woods towards Roseberry Topping. We then follow the main track to Aireyholme Farm and continue on to Cliff Rigg Wood, where the route turns Northwards and follows the lower tracks around Roseberry Topping before returning to the car park.

The route is on varied sizes of tracks, some broad and some quite narrow through the woods, but there were muddy sections on my recce (sticks would be advisable if there are still muddy conditions on the walk). It is an undulating route and there are several uphill and downhill sections, which will afford good views if the weather allows. There is only one stile on the route and approximately 1500 ft of ascent.
