We will start from the green at Reeth and walk to Reeth and Grinton bridges taking an uphill path just after the Grinton church passing blue ball to low and High Harker hill passing the shooters lodge (possible lunch stop) continuing on we take a path towards old moor gate and make our way down to Stubbin farm and follow river path to cross the swing bridge over the River Swale and we're back in Reeth.
The up hill path at Grinton has a couple of stiles. There is a dry beck to cross where we meet the track which leads up Harker hills but footing on these tracks is good. Excellent views in all directions but it is open ex mining up here. our return is mainly on paths that diagonally cross the main tractor access road
paths and tracks are in good condition but it is nearly all uphill until we reach High Harker
lunch at the shooters hut usually open
refreshments at Brenda's place locally known as the bike shop at Fremington
