Overview

Starting about a kilometre west of Aysgarth at the side of the A684, we cross a footbridge over the River Ure and then follow the route of the now dismantled Wensleydale Railway To Aysgarth High Force, then past Middle and Lower Forces. Leaving the riverside we then head in the direction of Bolton Castle as far as Kelder Well before turning right down to the stepping stones at Slapestone Wath. After crossing the river we head back upstream past Aysgarth Church, through the village and back down to the river back to the car park.
