We’ll walk through the grounds of Skene House. Stopping to view the historical home of Alexander the Laird of Skene in the 16th century. Also known locally as the “Wizard Laird of Skene”.
Crossing the A944 to do a loop of Dunecht Estate, enjoying views of the Loch and the surrounding countryside.
Walking mostly on quiet estate roads with sections on farm road and forest path.

Good walking boots and waterproofs essential. Walking poles if required. Bring food and drink.
Parking: is in the grounds of Lyne of Skene Village Hall (AB32 7PF) and overflow parking on Letter Road next to the Hall.
Toilets: There are no toilets available on the walk.
