We are the Winchester Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This walk is mainly on forest tracks and paths in the morning, with some open heathland with views in the afternoon. The New Forest has many strange place names and we will visit a couple.
The walk is undulating and there may be some mud patches if we have had rain.
This is a picnic walk. Please bring all refreshments for the day. The ice cream van has promised to be at the car park on our return.
