Overview

The route does offer great views of the river running past Avington. The walk is about 5 miles with no stiles and no prolonged steep sections. There may be some muddy points if there is rainfall during the week. Indications are that it shouldn’t be too bad, but do bring poles if you use them. There are some sections on quiet lanes, but nothing with material traffic.
