A walk of two halves - across the grouse moors above the Allendale valley, utilising shooters tracks and the old pack horse route of the Long Drag returning along the lovely East Allen riverside. Mainly easy walking with open views and big skies.

Meet at the Heritage Centre, Allenheads. Turn right into Allenheads village centre, signposted from the B6295. Car sharing is highly recommended to reduce the impact of our walks on the environment.
