This is a stunning walk that gives you the opportunity to explore the archaeology peppering the landscape around Ingram. Our route takes us to the famed Brough Law, a multivalate fort commanding the narrow entry to the upper Breamish valley. From here we walk to Chesters (site of another fort), Dry Dean and the aptly namesd Thieves Road plantation. Our walk ends over Old Fawdon Hill, West Hill and East Hill, before passing Ingram Mill.
Advance booking is required for this walk. To reserve your place, please e-mail the walk leader, Heather D., through the contact box above - and remember to include your mobile number in the mail.
