Starting at Dinas Mawddwy village at the southern edge of the Eryri / Snowdonia National Park. The village stands amongst the most spectacular scenery at the convergence of the Rivers Cerist and Dyfi.
A moderate walk, largely on quiet country lanes and drovers roads along the charming Cywarch valley. It can be muddy in several places. Bring refreshments for coffee and lunch stops. Free parking and toilets at the start. Potential post-walk refreshments at the community café in Dinas Mawddwy.
